Are both sentences OK? My left ear doesn't hear well. I can't hear well in my left ear.

Yes, both sentences are absolutely fine. While "I don't hear well out of my left ear" might be more common, you'll also hear native speakers use the "my left ear doesn't hear well" structure. Both make sense!
