# Reasons why people work other than earning a living When you ask a person why they (he) need (needs) to work, they (he) usually answer (answers) that they (he) need (needs) to earn a living. What other reasons do people have for working? Maybe they can find the meaning of life by working. I think it is difficult for a person to continue working at a job he doesn't like every day and in which he feels no sense of accomplishment. Older generations always tell young adults that they should find a job that fits their interests. The phenomenon in which adults change their jobs has become increasingly common. If you don't find a job you like at first, maybe you should take part in a career aptitude survey sometime.* It will help you determine which kind of work is right for you. When you successfully integrate into your new job, you will discover the interesting parts of this job over time.
