Today, I went to a French restaurant with relatives for a Christmas party. We have a Christmas party every year, for two reasons I think. First of all, my mother is from England and lived there until she was about 16 years old, so her family loves Christmas very much. I love the Christmas season more than any other season too, so my grandma held today's Christmas party in the French restaurant. And the next reason is that my grandma is a Christian, so we hold a party every year for her. The dishes were delicious, but I didn't like the appetizer. The appetizer was shrimp with consommé jelly. Honestly, I don't like shrimp, but I was able to eat it. I also ate other dishes today. My favorite one was dessert. I ate "strawberry and mascarpone mousse with olive oil ice cream". I recommend this one. Chocolate caramelized cookie on top and chocolate and almonds on the bottom. Everyone said, "this is the best". lol We gave my grandma presents. When we gave them to her, she looked very happy and I was happy to see her smile. Anyway, my grandma gave me a muffler. This has been a cold winter so I am sure I will get a chance to use it every day. I will next see my grandma on New Year's Day and I will put on this muffler then. I'm very excited to see my relatives again soon.
