重新 is "restart." You are not satisfied with what you did, and you decide to restart (with brand-new ideas, a refreshing mindset, etc.). 你不满意你做过的，所以不会再做。
重复 is "repeat." You keep doing what you have done with the same method.
e.g: 我对这个项目不满意，我想重新做一遍，换一个方法，不想再重复之前的错误。

“重复” emphasizes the reoccurrence of something or behavior, while “重新” emphasizes a fresh start after some kind of change or interruption.
