A lot of people have asked me "What is the secret to language learning?" In my opinion there isn't a one way of learning a language. However , there are multiple tools at our disposal now a days. Such as teachers on iTalki, podcasts, apps, books, Anki, and many more. My biggest recommendation is to link your passions with language learning. I myself enjoy weight lifting and I have found a lot of content in social media and youtube in both Egyptian Arabic and Tagalog. When you make these connections with things you are already fond of as well as things you have a strong comprehensive knowledge in your first language, it helps you by essentially giving your brain a cheat sheet. You know what they are talking about but all you need to do is connect the dots. This same thing applies to watching your favorite movie or TV shows dubbed in your desired language. I've watched Wednesday countless times in Egyptian Arabic and now I can start to make connections with the vocabulary I am learning and what I know is happening in the show.

Hello I am Mr. Manzo and I am from California. I would like to share one of my favorite places to visit in the central coast. The Monterey Bay Aquarium. The Monterey Bay Aquarium has a lot of fond memories from when I was a young child and even into me as an adult. There is an extensive diversity of aquatic animals and plants that you may see. One of my favorite things to see there are the kelp tank. When I am in front of the kelp tank it is as if I am floating with the fishes and it brings me so much tranquility to my soul. If you ever have a chance to come visit, please check out the Monterey Bay Aquarium in the Central Coast, California. Best, Mr. Manzo

Hi, Have you ever wondered what is the best way of learning letter sounds when learning a new language? As a teacher that works with small children, my best advice is finding ways to connect each letter with an image. For example, the letter b. My students oftentimes confuse the b and the d and reverse the two constantly. A song we use in class is "the bat and the ball, the bat and the ball, that's the letter b, the bat and the ball." l⚾️ (Let's pretend that's a bat and a ball😉) I hope that helps, Best, Mr. Manzo

Hello, I am Mr. Manzo, Transitional kindergarten teacher by day, iTalki teacher by night. Have you ever wondered how you can help your children our yourself learn the ABC's in English? What a good way to learn the letter names as well as the letter sounds? Well I have the resource for you!!! In my classroom as a teacher for small children, we use music daily to reinforce letter names and sounds. Often times students confuse sounds or letters that have similar shapes. I recommend alphafriends as a fun way to practice your English phonemic awareness. My students' favorite song is Mimi Mouse. Here is a link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2KzWsYPvYI Yours truely, Mr. Manzo
