China a surprise As a person from a pluralist society , I have always wondered, are the chinese citizens happy with their government. They don't have any choice except the communist party. I do not see the same kind of human violations as I have seen in North Korea. However does the Chinese people enjoy the same kind of civil liberties the we Indians enjoy in our country. How do you explain a continuous regime of a single party and nobody is even worried? I know about the Tiananmen Square movement , but , we were told that it was organised only by some enthusiast youngsters.
