I reckon, first of all, students should learn how to search and sort out the nessessary information. Then they should develop critical thinking. After it they need to get academic knowledge, because we learn to get it in the end. And one more reason: it's hard to do something practical if a person doesn't know theory. Theory usually means academic knowledge.

Wenn ein bisschen von Geographie oder Chemie hängengeblieben ist, denn schön und gut. Ich lerne sehr gern, deshalb hat mir die Schule gefallen, aber ich habe Freunde, für die die Schule war der schlimmste Teil ihrer Leben. At first, we might resist certain theories or ideas. However, as we engage with the reasoning and the process behind those theories—such as understanding how they have been tested and refuted—we begin to appreciate their value. This intellectual journey, where we challenge and ultimately deepen our understanding, is what fascinates me. Of course, I recognize that some may argue against the importance of academic knowledge, emphasizing the value of practical skills. While practice is indeed important, I believe that starting with academic knowledge is more efficient. Much of what we put into practice today has already been thoroughly researched and analyzed by scholars. By first understanding these theoretical foundations, we can approach practical tasks with greater insight and effectiveness. As the saying goes, “Only a fool learns from his own mistakes. The wise man learns from the mistakes of others.” In the same way, students benefit from learning academic knowledge, which allows them to build upon the experiences and insights of generations past, rather than starting from scratch.

I don't think so. Nowadays students have other options to learn other than schools or universities. The Internet allows knowledge that is organized on an optimal way to be accessed on a very granular way, whenever and wherever needed. Of course the Internet also hosts the worst information, requiring skills to actually offer its best part. All of that said, there are areas of knowledge that benefit much less from the Internet. A surgeon would never become a surgeon no matter how good mentors nor how many thousands of hours of the best theory read one has, but only by the practice that requires specialized place and equipment.

Cel mai important lucru pentru un student nu este cu se descurce în cărți sau la școala cu limba Cafe învețe el. O limba care doar știi la un nivel “de la școala” de obicei nu este o limba care vei vorbi bine. Ce i important dacă chiar vrei să folosești o limba e să poți să te descurci în lucruri de zi de zi. Dar dacă o să descurci în lucruri de zi de zi, o să poți să și iei note acceptabile la un nivel academic de obicei. Deci nu, cel mai important lucru nu este cât de bine știi limba la un nivel academic.
