Hello! I'm Morteza, a native Persian (Farsi) speaker from the beautiful city of Isfahan, Iran. I'm a Professional Teacher on iTalki and a graduate of the Saadi Foundation’s TPSOL program, which prepares certified teachers to teach Persian to non-native speakers.
In addition to my passion for teaching, I’m also a Software Engineer with a love for languages, culture, and communication. I enjoy connecting with people from all over the world and helping them learn to speak Persian with confidence. My lessons are friendly, interactive, and always tailored to your goals. As a certified Persian teacher, I design each lesson around your individual learning needs. Whether you're starting from scratch or looking to refine your skills, I offer structured yet flexible lessons focused on conversation, listening, and cultural understanding.
We’ll go beyond grammar and vocabulary, using real-life situations, cultural references, and storytelling to help you speak naturally and confidently. I aim to make your learning experience meaningful, practical, and fun.我的課程內容與教學風格
My lessons are for all levels—from A1 beginners to advanced C2 speakers. I offer two main course types:
General Farsi: free discussion and all-round skills
Conversation Practice: speaking-focused for B1–C2
I use a flexible, conversation-based approach, with a strong focus on cultural context. You'll practice real-world speaking, boost your vocabulary, and explore Persian music, movies, and traditions. Persian Language Teaching - Saadi Foundation - 2025This certificate verifies that the recipient successfully completed the Saadi Foundation’s TPSOL (Teacher Preparation for the Teaching of Persian to Speakers of Other Languages) online program. The self-paced course included interactive video lectures, multimedia learning materials, and module assessments covering the four language skills, teaching methodology, and evaluation techniques. Upon passing all sessions and exams, an electronic certificate with a unique validation code was issued.

Morteza's teaching is very efficient. I started learning Persian with Morteza about a year ago, one class per week. Half of the class is usually devoted to conversational practice, and half to work with text (textbook or literature). Now I can speak about various topics from daily life and discuss news in Persian, and we read and study Khayyam's verses.

In class, we practice speaking on everyday topics and study Khayyam's verses. I find both activities to be very good for active language learning.
