I am Héctor Isaac Jiménez, a Dominican, a last-year medical student (UASD), and a music teacher (cello specialty and introduction to the arts). Passionate about teaching since childhood, loving partying, traveling, and meeting new people and their cultures.我的教學經歷
When I teach, my main objective for the student is that they understand, analyze, and internalize the information that they have just received. To achieve this, I make sure to build a relationship of trust and respect, so that, the student feels comfortable asking questions freely, dispelling any doubts and correcting errors. 我的課程內容與教學風格
During your learning I will use a method of continuous dialogue, answering your concerns and doubts, which is typical of everyone who learns a new language. From there we will cover topics related to the culture, dialects and jargon typical of Spanish-speaking peoples.
We will use mock dialogues typical of any probable eventuality to which the new Spanish-speaker may be exposed.我的教材

Hector, you have an amazing personality and always keep the conversation flowing. I appreciate your patience and charm, especially as I was sick and didn’t want to be in the lesson, but you found a way to make it fun.
During yesterday’s lesson, we discussed topics I had never explored in my language journey. Hector challenged me and was patient enough to allow me to find ways to express myself with my limited vocabulary. When I wanted to cheat and look up a word, he stopped me and encouraged me to think longer. After that, I indeed did find the words. It was a win!

We have been having lessons with Héctor for a few months now, and he is great! He is always punctual for our lessons. He's very inquisitive and great at making conversation. We have been learning Spanish for a few years now, so he keeps to Spanish at all times for us, and we have been getting more comfortable with the Dominican accent. Lately we've been analyzing videos from the Dominican Republic (songs, speeches, etc.), and Héctor can always give us the local context behind the words/sayings.

Hector is really easy to talk to and has a very positive and encouraging perspective that helps to elevate the experience of practicing another language. I like his method of dialogue and look forward to speaking again!
