I’m an educator who’s lived in the Philippines, the US, Japan, and Korea. My multicultural background has made me passionate about understanding people of various cultures. I love languages because they open our worlds to new experiences! I love anything to do with storytelling, so my hobbies include reading books, drawing comics, playing games, and watching animated films. 我的教學經歷

I have a degree from the US in English Language and Literature and Asian Studies. My specialty is teaching students from East Asia, but I welcome all students! 🌏 Outside of iTalki, I work in corporate now, but I used to work in schools. I have experience tutoring 1:1 and in small classes of children, as well as leading groups of high school and college students, so I can work with you at any age and proficiency. 저는 미국에서 영문학과 동양학을 전공했습니다. 동아시아권 학생들을 가르치는게 제 전문이지만 모든 학생들을 환영합니다! 🌏 iTalki 외에 저는 회사원인데 그전에 학교에서 일했어요. 저는 1:1 튜터링과 소규모의 아이들 수업, 그리고 고등학생과 대학생들의 그룹을 지도했던 경험을 가지고 있습니다. 다양한 해외경험과 교육학에 대한 이해도를 바탕으로 모든 학생들의 눈높이에 맞춰 즐겁게 수업을 할 수 있다고 생각합니다.

我的課程內容與教學風格

I am a patient teacher who hopes to foster a warm, comfortable environment for you to play with the language. I love making lessons enjoyable for my students, as I believe that helps them progress faster! My teaching materials are self-made and customized to your needs. I believe immersion is key to fluency, so I always conduct lessons in English – but if a student is struggling, I can also explain in Korean/Filipino, or some Japanese/Chinese. 저는 인내심이 많은 선생님이에요. 여러분들이 영어를 편안하게 가지고 놀 수 있는 따뜻한 분위기를 만들고 싶어요. 그래야 학생들이 수업을 즐길 수 있고, 실력이 빨리 발전할 수 있다고 생각해요. 저는 여러분들의 능력과 학습목표, 취향을 바탕으로 교육자료를 직접 만듭니다. "언어 몰입 교육"이 언어를 유창하게 하기 위한 핵심이라고 생각하기 때문에, 수업을 전부 영어로 진행하려고 해요. 하지만 학생이 힘들어할 경우에는 한국어로 도움을 드릴 수 있어요.

🌟The best English teacher on italki🌟 She's so smart, makes everything easy. you'll be surprised by the materials she has prepared for you. they're organized, visual, intuitive and cute, allowing us to enjoy English. She is a true educator, and a lovely artist. AND she's also a language learner just like us! she helps me out with her fluent Korean when I struggle with English. she's always be patient with me speaking in English. I'm lucky to meet her on italki🤩
