Hiro is a true professional. She instantly knew how to choose topics and vocabulary at my conversation level. She spoke clearly, calmly, and in a rhythm that was easy for me as a beginner to follow. She kept the conversation moving naturally and with ease. She gave me time to think about my response without rushing me or making me feel self-conscious. When I needed help she offered in simple hiragana how to say what I wanted to express. If you are looking for a kind, calm, engaging, helpful teacher--don't look any further.

My lessons focused on conversation. Hiro Sensei is easy to talk to. Although I made a lot of grammatical mistakes, she was patient and understanding. Every lesson ended happily.

We often talk about recent events in Hong Kong or holiday celebrations. The atmosphere is relaxed and interactive, making it perfect for students who enjoy free and natural communication.

I really enjoyed my free conversation lesson with Hiro-sensei. She is incredibly patient and does an excellent job of guiding the pace of the conversation, making even beginners like me feel comfortable speaking Japanese. I especially appreciated how she introduced new topics naturally and wrote down useful keywords and expressions during the lesson. This made it easy to review and practice after class, helping me remember everyday Japanese more effectively. Besides improving my speaking skills, I also learned more about Japanese daily life and culture. Hiro-sensei is a wonderful teacher for anyone who wants to build confidence in conversational Japanese. I definitely plan to continue taking lessons with her and highly recommend her to other learners.
