Hi! I’m Karen 😊 I’m from Bogotá (known as “the fridge” of Colombia) I help students speak Spanish with more confidence through real conversations, everyday topics, and a relaxed approach. In my classes, we combine conversation and grammar in a simple, stress-free way so you can express yourself naturally. What you’ll learn: Real Spanish (expressions and everyday phrases) How to speak without translating in your head How to feel more comfortable in real conversations My goal is for you to enjoy the process and feel confident when speaking. Ready to start? Let’s talk As a tutor, I’m calm, patient, and supportive. I like to create a comfortable environment where you can express yourself without fear of making mistakes. I focus on helping you speak with more confidence by giving clear, simple corrections and answering your questions step by step. I also enjoy getting to know my students, understanding their goals, and adapting each lesson to make learning practical, natural, and effective. I aim to make my classes dynamic, practical, and focused on real-life situations, so you can start using Spanish from the very beginning. I use a variety of resources such as videos, audio, and interactive materials, always with one goal: to help you speak more confidently and naturally. My goal is for you to enjoy the learning process, feel comfortable, and overcome the fear of expressing yourself in Spanish.

Karen was great! During our first lesson today, Karen asked me lots of questions and was very patient and professional. She supported me with some vocabulary and helped me with some verbs as I needed them.
