Hello, students! My name is Mario. I was born and raised in beautiful Mexico. I teach Spanish, English, and also classical ballet when it comes to arts. My academic background covers languages but more specifically, linguistics. Aside from teaching, I enjoy traveling to discover new cultures and meet people. I also adore having conversations about interesting topics and helping my students whether they struggle with languages. I have so many hobbies but my favorite is biking while watching the sunset.
Creativity is my talent and being friendly is my virtue. The main conversational topics I use in my classes are focused on: culture, life, and experiences. I can teach you grammar but also adapt to your needs and preferences. I know the learning process is not simple; it brings struggles, but I´m always willing to help my students. My goal is to help you achieve your potentials to speak the language with confidence.
I´m always adapted to your learning needs; if you need to focus on a specific topic or if you just want a conversation (my style is based on your level, needs, and preferences). I can give you the necessary theoretical tools if you need them but my purpose is for you to learn real Spanish in real situations. I will give you the material so that you´ll have a whole learning experience.

Mario's lessons are well planned. I find him easy to talk to. We usually do a couple of exercises or play some kind of game to keep the conversation going. Mario is good at checking his student's understanding before moving on. He seems to have a lot of experience tutoring.

Mario is the best! He comes prepared to class and asks such great questions that get you talking about lots of different topics. I feel much more confident talking in Spanish now after all my classes with him and he’s also really funny and always brings good vibes - I fully recommend Mario!

I have already left a rave review for Mario, but I needed to add another one because he continually impresses me with his dedication and his teaching style. Last week I mentioned being confused about a specific word and idea, and so this week he came prepared with a whole lesson on this word! He went through each definition of the word, using slides he made with original sentences and giving plenty of examples. He made sure I fully understood everything and even when I had to switch to English to discuss how the definitions are similar/different to English, he understood everything I was saying. Another great lesson with Mario!
