Hello. My name is Marlene Vicente and I am from sunny South Africa. I've been teaching English as a second language online since December 2020 and I have a 120hr TEFL certification. When I'm not helping my wonderful students gain confidence in their speaking skills, I enjoy long outdoor walks with my dog and functional strength training. Prior to my teaching career, I worked as an internationally qualified spa therapist and manager and I also successfully owned and operated a bakery for seven years. But now I am living my dream, helping students around the world gain proficiency in the English language.我的教學經歷
My teaching style is best described as kind, patient and caring. I am a personable and relatable teacher. I don't lecture my students as I find that learning through participation is always most successful.我的課程內容與教學風格
Conversational English is definitely my strong suit. Whilst having an interesting and stimulating conversation, I can help you improve your grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary. I love using props, flash cards and real life examples to keep language learning fun and memorable.我的教材
