I really enjoyed today's lesson! It was one of our best lessons! Trevi truly cares about me as a person and knows exactly what I like! She also always gives me advice when I need it. Not to mention how much she has helped me with my English. She makes me feel at ease even when I don't remember certain words. Thank you so much, Trevi for the amazing birthday surprise! I will treasure it forever!

Today we talked about education and how many people around the world fail to appreciate the opportunities that the education system provides, as flawed as it might be. We then explored the nature of power and the relationship between the oppressor and the oppressed, particularly in the context of apartheid. I'm so lucky to have Trevi as my teacher!

I had an exceptionally thought-provoking lesson today while discussing apartheid. Trevi is incredibly eloquent and knowledgeable, and she explained the subject with such clarity, depth and insight that the lesson went far beyond simply practicing English. We also read an excerpt from a book about the subject and talked about that. Thank you Trevi!
