Hi! I’ve been teaching for 6 years. I’m from Miami and now live in Barcelona. I love fiction and run a book club. When not reading or writing, I watch reality shows and sitcoms—I’m always up for a chat! I love teaching and believe every small step my students take is the best reward. Stories, humor, and real talk, so class is never boring!

English teacherI designed and taught English lessons for children aged 5 to 15, covering levels A1 to B1, using Cambridge books as a base. To make learning fun and effective, I added gamified activities, storytelling, and educational games that helped increase engagement and understanding. I regularly assessed students, corrected their work, and adapted lessons to support their progress. I also collaborated with colleagues and communicated with parents, preparing term reports to track each student’s growth.

English teacherI teach students of all levels, from beginner phonics to advanced reading. I use lesson plans with books that help with reading, phonics, and speaking. Some books we read are The Cat in the Hat, Amelia Bedelia, and Five Feet Apart. I help students learn how to sound out words, read smoothly, and learn new vocabulary. We do fun activities like talking about the stories and reading aloud. I watch their progress and give feedback to help them improve.

English teacherI have been teaching English online for five years, covering all skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I offer conversational classes and also a course that combines all skills. In that course, we read books by well-known authors like Robin Ha (Almost American Girl, The Fox Maidens), N.K. Jemisin (The Broken Earth series), and Jasmine Warga (Other Words for Home, My Heart and Other Black Holes). This helps students improve their language and enjoy great stories.
2019 - 2020
Au Pair ESL TutorI lived with a German family as part of a cultural exchange and tutored their 3-year-old son, Luis, in English. I prepared fun reading materials, conversation topics, and listening activities to help him learn. I also supported his pronunciation and early reading comprehension while sharing cultural experiences with the family.
