Hello! I’m Elizabeth, a qualified teacher with over 30 years of experience in both classroom and online teaching. I’ve helped learners of all ages succeed — from passing exams to improving their employability, boosting speaking confidence, and applying English in specialized areas like science and medicine.
Originally from England, I now live on a farm in Portugal, where I train horses and care for my dogs and cats. I’m also learning Portuguese, so I understand firsthand the challenges of learning a second language. This experience makes me patient, empathetic, and supportive with all my students.

English TeacherIn this school, I taught classes from B1 to C2, preparing students for the Cambridge Exams. I also had the opportunity to tutor adults individually, giving them support in English according to their needs. I also helped these adults prepare for presentations, including proofreading documents.

Science TeacherDuring my time as a science teacher, I had the opportunity to teach a range of topics including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science and Health Sciences. My students were aged between 11 and 18 and I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the classroom sharing my knowledge and preparing exciting and engaging lessons.
