Hello, and thank you for reading my profile.
Let me tell you a little about myself. I’m a native English speaker with over 30 years’ experience as a teacher, working both in the classroom and online. I genuinely enjoy helping people improve their English—whether for enjoyment, career development, travel, or exam success. I also love sharing my knowledge of science with young learners and have a strong interest in nature and the environment.
Over ten years ago, I moved to Portugal with my husband, where we now run a farm and keep horses. Living in a foreign country has given me real insight into the language-learning process—I understand both the challenges and the rewards of learning a new language.
If you choose me as your teacher, you can expect well-planned, engaging lessons using interactive online resources, both during class and for independent practice. English TeacherIn this school, I taught classes from B1 to C2, preparing students for the Cambridge Exams. I also had the opportunity to tutor adults individually, giving them support in English according to their needs. I also helped these adults prepare for presentations, including proofreading documents.
1988 - 2014
Science TeacherDuring my time as a science teacher, I had the opportunity to teach a range of topics including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science and Health Sciences. My students were aged between 11 and 18 and I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the classroom sharing my knowledge and preparing exciting and engaging lessons.
