Saori Shinkai

I have been taking lessons with Saori on and off for a long time since I was a beginner. She provides are very comfortable atmosphere and is friendly. I'm at the talking stage and she's great at picking up what I'm trying to say and helping me speak more naturally.

Saori san is a wonderful teacher and comes highly recommended, patient and methodical in her approach to enhance the learning experience. I look forward to studying with her in the months to come.

This was my very first trial lesson on iTalki and I’m so glad I picked a session with Saori-san! She’s got such a warm personality and made me feel comfortable even though I’m super self-conscious about my Japanese conversation skills. I like that she types phrases I stumble over / had trouble expressing for reference and review, and am looking forward to more classes with her!

I learned Japanese 2 years ago with Saori and it went quite well. it's so great to reconnect with her and continue the learning journeys. Saori is very professional and motivated. Learning japanese with her is very efficient. She also speaks good english so we could communicate with no barriers!

Soari Sensei has a very calm, supportive, and cheerful style which encouraged me to focus on what I was trying to say throughout our first lesson. She can sense the right moment to step in and save me when I get in over my head, which is often!
