Hello everyone! I’m Thomas, a native English speaker and undergraduate student of modern languages. I grew up in the East Midlands, near Nottingham, and speak with a minimal accent. I love learning new languages in my spare time and am fascinated by the culture and history of other countries.
Language learning is my passion so I’m very enthusiastic to share its joys with you! I cannot overstate the significance language learning has had in my life – it truly is a gateway to another world. Cultural exchange is therefore very important to me, so I can’t wait to discuss your interests and views with you. Whatever your goals or level of language proficiency, my aim is to give you the skills and confidence to use your English to the absolute best of your ability.
In my lessons, I create a relaxed and supportive environment for you to express yourself fully without fear of judgement. I tend not to correct grammatical or lexical mistakes right away so as not to disrupt the flow of the conversation, but rather I will provide notes which can be referred back to after the lesson and may draw attention to areas that need a bit of work. As well as free-flowing conversation, I work with a variety of materials such as text, audio-visual and grammar drills to keep the lessons engaging. Most importantly, however, my lessons are tailored to your preferences and needs, which I will always take into consideration and incorporate into the exercises we do.我的教材
