Wonderful teacher. Explains well and makes learning fun. He can also use clever examples from many languages, which is very handy if you have a familiarity with French, Chinese, Japanese, German, etc.

Discovering 태원샘 has been one of the most rewarding parts of learning Korean and I’m profoundly grateful for his guidance. When I started the year, I had a decent grasp of vocabulary—but now, I can hold basic conversations with confidence. My ability to conjugate across tenses and switch between casual and polite speech has improved dramatically. 태원샘’s teaching style is exceptional. He knows exactly when to push me and when to let me explore on my own. Whenever I hit a roadblock, his calm and thorough explanations help me break through. He never gives up until I truly understand the concept. Beyond grammar and vocabulary, 태원샘 enriches each lesson with cultural insights and lifestyle tips that deepen my appreciation for Korea. His sharp ear for pronunciation helps me sound natural and authentic. He’s not just a teacher—he’s a mentor, and I’m so lucky to have learned from someone so committed and skilled. Thanks to the care and effort I received in 선생님’s lessons, I was able to build a confidence in my Korean skills. That confidence not only improved my language ability, but that same confidence carried over into helping me secure my first big job! (Plus the Korean skills on my resume don’t hurt haha) I’m truly grateful for 선생님 and look forward to our next lessons.
