Jade

Jade is a smart, patient and caring teacher - and a very nice person as well. - I have taken a month of lessons - one each week. It is always fun - I learn a lot and I sense that progress is occurring. I would highly recommend her as a teacher. Her english is fabulous and she can explain everything. Also she has very good materials to learn on your screen during class.

Jade is great to practice with. She has lots of ideas so the conversation never drags. But more than that, she’s open and honest and sincere. I look forward to all my meetings with Jade.

Very great lesson! My Spanish is very poor, after so many years of not taking classes, but she was very kind and explained everything as we went through. Her English was excellent which really made the experience great so I wasn’t guessing at what was being said.

I really enjoyed my lesson with jade For Fay. We were in conversation for almost an hour. She spoke clearly and slowly -- helpfully matching my level of proficiency in Spanish. She was responsive to my particular interests (such as learning the past tense and other grammatical issues, plus regular conversation). She corrected a few of my errors (though I am sure I made many more!) and was encouraging and positive about my progress. Happy to be taking more lessons with her soon. Gracias!

She was very nice and patient. She also spoke my native language of English very well, which I think is essential to really bridge the gap between not speaking Spanish well and wanting to (I also think in English so I need to ask a lot of questions in English because I don't yet know the Spanish). One thing I will say that may increase her efficiency and success of being a teacher going forward is speaking at a pace where she knows her student understands. Teachers can't always expect students, who often don't know much, to be able to 'direct' the lesson. That is why we pay the teacher. She let me direct the lesson for the most part, which can be nice in some ways, but I was hoping she would direct me. I had a hard enough time understanding everything she was saying and by the time I started to figure out how to organize the lesson, which again, is not what I expected, the lesson was over. I appreciated her honesty and 'vibe' very much though!
