Zen is a wonderful teacher! I just took my first ancient greek lesson with them and I could tell how knowledgeable they were about the topic :) They were also really patient with all my questions during the lesson. I'd highly recommend Zen to anyone interested in learning ancient greek!!

Zen is top notch! He is consistently well prepared and genuinely open to discussion. In our sessions, we worked through texts by Plato, Thucydides, and Gorgias, among others. He gives me handout every time after class, with explanations in Greek. When we were reading difficult texts like Thucydides, he went out of his way to write paraphrases in simpler Greek to help with my study. I would highly recommend studying Greek with him at any level.

Zen is an outstanding and highly responsible teacher! He strikes the perfect balance between correcting my spoken mistakes and encouraging me to express myself freely in English. I especially appreciate the detailed feedback notes he sends after every class. Thanks to his dedication, my speaking ability and confidence have improved tremendously. I highly recommend him!
