Hello, my name is Carly. I was born and raised in the United States, and I would love to help you on your English learning journey!
As a certified EFL teacher with a background in International Business and Mandarin Chinese, I understand both the challenges and rewards of learning a new language.
I specialize in accent training, fluency, and presentation skills, and I create a relaxed, judgment-free environment where mistakes are part of the process. My goal is to make learning clear, enjoyable, and tailored to your needs.我的教學經歷
I am a certified English teacher with specializations in Business English, Online English Classes, and a 168-hour TEFL certification.
My main focus is accent training and conversational fluency, but I also draw on my international business background to support students with professional English. With experience in public speaking, I can help you prepare and deliver presentations with confidence.
I speak Mandarin at an intermediate-high level, though I keep lessons in English to give students the full immersion they need to improve quickly.我的課程內容與教學風格
My accent reduction lessons first cover the basics of an American accent (about 20 topics) and then goes into applied accent practice. My fluency lessons are tailored to each student’s goals. I offer both formal and informal styles, and you can even mix them. For example, starting with conversation practice and finishing with structured work. Formal lessons follow customized plans with vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation, while informal lessons focus on fluency through real conversations, presentations, or everyday topics. I usually don’t assign homework unless requested, as I aim to keep learning practical, flexible, and enjoyable.我的教材
