Another really fun cultural lesson with Adriana! Today we learned about tejo, Colombia’s national sport, and it was fascinating to learn about a sport I had never even heard of before. I picked up a lot of useful new vocabulary naturally through the discussion, which made the lesson both interesting and practical. I also appreciate how she shares videos and other resources so you can really understand the topic visually while getting extra listening comprehension practice at the same time. Her lessons always feel immersive, engaging, and connected to real culture and real language instead of just textbook exercises. She’s patient, encouraging, and great at explaining new words in a way that keeps the conversation flowing naturally. Every class leaves me feeling more confident speaking and more connected to the culture!

She challenges me just the right amount and always introduces useful new vocabulary that helps me express ideas I actually care about.
