I am an experienced language teacher with 6 years of teaching English and 3 years of teaching Khmer to local and 1 year to online international learners . I completed training at the National Institute of Education and continue to grow through professional development. My teaching styles is student-centered and adaptable, designed to help learners achieve their goals—whether for daily conversation, travel, or culture purposes. I use a range of resources, including flashcards , slideshow lessons with romanization and English translations, to make learning clear and accessible. Notice, before they join the class, I'll send the flashcards with audios to my students before class so that they learn before me. And before each class, I will review past lessons and during the lesson, I encourage students to practice speaking and forming sentences through conversations or online quizzes then provide feedback on what they have to. I believe this method gives learners a practical, conversational experience, helping them build confidence and sound more natural in Khmer.我的教材

Sokneang is a very good teacher who explains Khmer well and is supportive and helpful. She pitches the class to my ability and she replied to messages to help me practice outside of the classroom. If you want to learn Khmer, I would recommend Sokneang :)

Great lesson with Sokneang! We started with a review of the consonants that we already learned. I did pretty well, but made some mistakes. I also didn't really know the sub-consonant "legs", which Sokneang explained that I will have to know them. We also went through the materials that Sokneang prepared about food, which was really fun. I feel like I've come a long way in a short time thanks to Sokneang's teaching!

Great lesson with Sokneang! We started by reviewing the consonants in the "or" group, then we learned the first few consonants from the "er" group. We also read through a short story that Sokneang prepared. Sokneang asked me questions about the story to see if I understood. It helped a lot that Sokneang provided flashcards so that I could preview the consonants and vocabulary. Her lessons are fun and very effective!

I recently started learning Khmer with Sokneang. Her teaching is very good and I learned a lot already in only a few lessons. She gives me a preview of the lesson in Quizlet, and we review when the lesson starts. She includes audio on the flashcards, which is very helpful. I enjoy her class and look forward to continue learning with Sokneang!

Great lesson with Sokneang! We learned six more consonants from the "er" group, and practiced drawing them on the whiteboard. We also learned about months of the year. Sokneang prepared a multiple-choice game that was a fun activity. After that, we learned different vocabulary related to food. Sokneang sent me flashcards to preview before the lesson, which was very helpful. Sokneang's lessons are fun and effective, I really enjoy them!
