Hello, I'm Sophia! I'm a native English speaker from Los Angeles, California but I'm currently living in Madrid. I work part-time here on iTalki because I have another job as an English language assistant in elementary school. In university I majored in International Relations due to my interest in different cultures and languages across the globe. While I am still in the early days of my teaching career, I have already discovered a passion for helping others engage in the language they desire to learn. As a language learner myself, I have been able to recognize the strategies and materials that work best for me, and I would love to help you uncover your preferred methods and activities! I know that learning a new language can sometimes be intimidating and frustrating, but I'm here to guide you through the process and make our sessions both comfortable and productive 😊.我的課程內容與教學風格
I like to curate my lessons to your specific needs, as I feel that students can learn more and be more productive when they are engaging in their target language in ways that personally suit them.
The one thing that all my lessons have in common, is that they are conversation-based. Some reading or writing exercises may be thrown in here and there, depending on your needs, but I like to focus on conversational skills, as they are the building blocks of learning any language!我的教材
