Hello, and welcome to my profile! My name is Joanna, and I’m an experienced English teacher based in sunny Spain. Originally from Poland, I’ve had the privilege of living and studying in several countries. I graduated from an international high school in Dubai and went on to earn my MSc in Environmental Engineering from a prestigious university in Denmark.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me blogging about teaching, practicing my Spanish, or knitting. I love learning and taking on new challenges, and I look forward to helping you grow and achieve your English goals!我的教學經歷
I have over six years of experience teaching English to students from diverse backgrounds, especially Spanish and Polish speakers. My teaching journey began in Zafra, where I worked with children, teenagers, and adults. I’ve successfully prepared many students for Cambridge exams, running over 15 intensive courses at the B1 and B2 levels.
In 2020, I moved to Altea and joined an academy in Alicante, where I focused on teaching general English to adults. That same year, I earned my CELTA certification with a Pass A, which has equipped me with proven methods to help my students succeed. In my general English classes, I focus on speaking practice while helping you refresh grammar and expand your vocabulary. Today's lesson was very beneficial and interesting. The new vocabulary related to strong emotions was useful, and I was able to pick it up well through conversation. I have also mastered the difference between (look + adjective, looks like + noun, look as if + clause).
