Hi! I am Silvana, your Spanish teacher from Peru🇵🇪. More than grammar, I will teach you the richness of my culture while having a natural and fun conversation. Having experience teaching in multicultural events, I know how to make each class feel like you’re having a coffee with friends. When I am not teaching, I love to explore movies, try out new teas and coffees, and lose myself in books. But, my real passion is connecting with people, and that is what teaching in Italki gives me. I would say that I'm very patient, friendly, and flexible. Be sure that I will listen to your needs and interests in each class. My goal is to help you develop self-confidence in speaking and expressing yourself in Spanish. I know you can do it!

A huge part of my classes is about you feeling relaxed, comfortable, and enjoying learning. Of course, as every student is not the same, I'll customize your lessons to meet your needs and level.
We will not only talk about our day but we will do other activities.
My classes are a safe space for any student, feel free to come no matter your background.
I give feedback, corrections, and suggestions. I'll be happy to listen to your feedback, in that way, I'll be sure we are going in the right direction.

I found an incredible tutor on italki from Argentina. However for supplemental lessons and spontaneous conversation, Silvana was incredible. She is from the proper country (Peru) because I am visiting there next month and peru has a clear accent.
I liked how Silvana let me control the path of the lesson. I know what I need.. better conversational skills. My accent is horrible. She was incredible in assisting me. Her personality is perfect and patient.
If you need better conversation skills, book Silvana now! perfect personality, easy going, and from the perfect country to practice from Peru.

Silvana is a wonderful instructor! She is patient, supportive, and provides feedback in a very positive manner. She is fluent in English, so she knows what I am trying to say, and thus can give me the Spanish version – not just a translation. In this way, I actually learn Spanish, and not simply Spanish words for English ideas – there’s a difference! Sometimes instructors get bored or burned out. This is not the case with Silvana. She is right there, fully engaged, and interested in the whole lesson. Thanks so much Silvana!🌎💫
