初めまして！エスヤと申します。アメリ合衆国生まれ育ちです。アジア研究と中東研究を専攻し、アイビーリーグのコーネル大学を卒業しました。趣味は言語学習、旅行、と美術です。現在九州の熊本県に滞在しており、英語講師として働いております。英語以外は日本語、ペルシャ語も喋れます。よろしくお願いいたします！
Hello! My name is Esja. I was born in raised in the US. I graduated from Cornell university with a dual major of Asian Studies and Middle Eastern Studies. My interests include language study, travel, and art. I live and teach English in Kyushu, Japan. In addition to English, I can also speak Japanese at the advanced level, and Persian at the intermediate level.我的教學經歷
英語を教えるのは大好きです！日本に来てから3年の間に千葉県でALTとして働いたこともあるし、幼稚園教諭もしたことあるし、現在熊本県で子供にも社会人にも英語を教えております。教師としての目標は様々な生徒の勉強に対して役に立ちたいです！
I love teaching! I have been teaching for 3 years since moving to Japan. I have taught as an ALT, as a kindergarten teacher, and as a dispatch teacher to a variety of age groups. I especially love working with young children, but I happily enjoy working with older people too! I am very interested in language learning both personally and as a teacher, and I want to help many people on their journey to learn English!我的課程內容與教學風格
For adult lessons, my basic approach to split the lesson between half conversation, and half textbook work and drills. For the conversation portion, the student can choose their own topic, or I can offer some topics to choose from. During the lesson, I will provide feedback and record new words and grammar. For the textbook work and drills, I tailor the types of materials used and the difficulty of the materials based on the skills of the student.
For kids lessons, the approach depends on the age of the student. For very small kids, I use a combination of story time, songs, games, and chants. For older students, I use textbooks designed for young ESL learners.我的教材
