I’m a native English speaker from Canada and I have a neutral American accent (aka General American accent). I can speak and understand Mandarin (bilingual), Japanese (C1), French (B2) and German (A2). If you are a beginner or intermediate English learner, I can help you learn through communicating in one of these languages. I also study art history in university so if you are interested in discussing anything art-related, be my guest!

I've had experience tutoring students of all different ages, including students in kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school, as well as working adults, so I can tailor my class material and assignments to your needs and goals. I have an inquiry-based learning approach, which means I encourage students to actively participate in class and take initiative in their own learning.

3 Lesson Plans: Comprehensive English Lessons Recommended for: beginners and lower-intermediate learners (A1-B1) Aim of class: to improve grammar and vocabulary, reading comprehension, and conversational skills Conversations for Daily Life Recommended for lower and upper intermediate learners (B1-B2) Aim of class: practice oral and verbal communications skills in daily life situations, understand and use slang English Language & Literature Recommended for: advanced english learners (B2 or above) Aim of class: discuss a wide range of topics with nuance and depth (optional: read and analyze English literature and poetry)
