I’ve been taking lessons with Anka for almost six months after studying Polish on and off for years, and I’ve noticed such a difference in my confidence—especially when speaking, which has always been the hardest part for me. Anka creates such a comfortable and encouraging atmosphere that I never feel afraid to make mistakes, and I get to spend so much of each lesson actually speaking Polish. I also love how thoughtfully she personalizes our lessons around my life, interests, and goals. I genuinely look forward to every lesson and am excited to keep learning with her!

She introduces engaging, interesting topics that keep me practicing naturally and my speaking confidence has grown so much. I have now spent more than a year taking lessons from Anka biweekly and have noticed a dramatic improvement in my Polish proficiency - from basic, barely A1 last year to a strong A2 level now. She is excellent at sensing when I can continue the conversation in Polish, and when I am struggling too much in Polish and we need to revert to English to explain a key vocabulary or grammar point. I plan to continue learning with Anka for some time into the future, as I am very pleased with my progress!

Anka is a very good teacher. Although my Polish is very poor, she manages to make me speak. She uses different methods, including online exercises, which are very helpful to remember vocabulary and grammar. Highly recommended!
