碩士 - Teaching Polish as a foreign and second languageIn June 2022 I've finished postgraduate studies "Teaching Polish as a foreign and second language" at the Pedagogical University in Kraków. This course lasted two semesters, form 10.2021 to 06.2022.
The curriculum has been designed to prepare students for teaching Polish as a foreign language, to adults and children.
The curriculum consists of subjects in four blocks: Polish language glottodidactics; knowledge of the language; literature and culture.

I have now spent more than a year taking lessons from Anka biweekly and have noticed a dramatic improvement in my Polish proficiency - from basic, barely A1 last year to a strong A2 level now. She is excellent at sensing when I can continue the conversation in Polish, and when I am struggling too much in Polish and we need to revert to English to explain a key vocabulary or grammar point.
I plan to continue learning with Anka for some time into the future, as I am very pleased with my progress!

I needed fun and interactive lessons where I could improve my communication skills, and I can say that I feel now much more confident in my spoken Polish. She adapts to my interests and needs, and you can tell she puts effort into planning each lesson with questions and topics.
