▶︎ I'm very pleased to meet everyone from everywhere! My name is Grace and I am from the United States. I speak three languages: English, Korean, and Spanish.
▶︎ I loved linguistics and learning languages, so I majored in Applied Linguistics at UCLA.
As I become more focused on teaching, I also completed my Master's Degree in Foreign Language Teaching with a thesis regarding TEFL at Michigan State University to further dive into pedagogy!
▶︎ Please be informed that I currently do NOT teach children and young learners, as I do not have lessons planned for that specific age group. Thank you!我的教學經歷
▶︎ My lessons are quite informal and I attempt to be engaging, but I also make sure to follow the PPT and cover the vocabulary words that I created for the lesson at hand.
▶︎ If possible, I try to create a light environment as I understand that learning occurs best when students are relaxed.
▶︎ I can be quite chatty and I do ask a lot of questions, so please don't be alarmed, and relax~我的課程內容與教學風格
▶︎ As a teacher, I follow a conversational curricula that I have prepared for INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED lessons (B1-C2) only (NO BEGINNERS, sorry!).
▶︎ However, if there is something that you'd like to work on -- please let me know, and I will see if I can be flexible with your request!
▶︎ For college applications, personal statements, and job interviews -- if there is something specific you have prepared or like to work on, please share with me prior to the class for me to use the class time wisely.
