I handled both group classes and individual lessons for students ranging from complete beginners to intermediate learners. In face-to-face lessons, I taught to introduce Japanese culture in each session, offering experiences beyond language learning, such as soroban, making personal hanko, card games, hanafuda, and peace education.

I have been doing lesson with Kiko Sensei for 3 months now, 4 times a week. She is very thoughtful and caring and tailored the class to my needs. She was very accommodating and extremely patient even with a slow learner like me! I highly recommend her as a teacher because you will learn so much from her and she will be very thoughtful and caring with you!

Even though it was a trial lesson, I had a lot of fun talking with Kiko sensei. I mentioned not having much practice with grammar since I mostly focused on learning Kanji. So towards the end of the lesson, we did some Genki slides. Even though it was quite last minute, she was well prepared and I had a lovely time conversing with Kiko sensei. 今日はありがとうございました (♡ˊ͈ ꒳ ˋ͈)

I am really enjoying my lessons with Kiko-san! I really feel like my conversational skills are improving. Kiko-san is diligent in gently correcting me when I get things wrong so that I can fix my mistakes, and we never seem to run out of things to talk about, which makes the lessons really fun.
