Nicolle teaches the way that I most like which is everything is in Spanish and if I don't know a word, she shows me through images on the internet or describes it in a way I understand. This really helps me think in Spanish so I can come up with what I want to say quicker instead of trying to think of the English words then the Spanish equivalents. She is a fantastic teacher and it is clear she spends a lot of time on preparing her lessons. I am taking her class on learning more about El Salvador because I have more than a few neighbors from El Salvador and there are a lot of folks from that country here where I live and I would like to know more about the country to help understand what they have been going through and what things are like there, and maybe we can have conversations about those things. The classes are extremely helpful, interesting, informative, and consistently interactive with games and other activities like putting yourself in the place of someone from El Salvador.

Me encantan las clases con Nicolle. Siempre hay un tema para conversar. Las actividades son divertidas y me ayudan mucho en la práctica verbal del español. Lo recomiendo mucho, especialmente si tienes un nivel intermedio o más alto.

This was just my first lesson but I believe it was the best lesson I have had so far - I tried Italki about a year ago but decided I wasn't quite ready to start speaking. I still make a number of mistakes but Nicolle completely gets rid of the 'nerves' factor with her unique energy and way of turning the classes into fun conversations. I will definitely be back for more lessons as long as she is offering !

Mi primera clase con Nicolle fue bastante interesante. Quería aprender más sobre El Salvador, su cultura y, sobre todo, cómo se habla allí. Nicolle me dio recursos para aprender palabras únicas del país y cómo usarlas en contexto, y aclaró todas mis dudas en cuanto surgieron. ¡Tengo muchas ganas de hablar con ella pronto!
