Alba

My lessons with Alba have been amazing - she's been so helpful as I'm reading my first book in Spanish! In preparation for our lessons, we read a few chapters, I write a brief summary of each chapter, and Alba provides edits on grammar, sentence structure, and word choice. During our meetings we talk about the content of the chapters and review my summaries. These lessons have not only been helpful for my Spanish reading and writing proficiency, but also my speaking.

I've been taking Alba's classes for a couple of months now. Classes never feel like classes really, more like fun & natural conversations in which you learn loads. Her style of teaching is very easy-going and adaptable. Plus she's always on time and provides good materials. 100% recommended!

I've had several Spanish lessons with Alba, and she has been a great teacher for me. She is well-prepared for the classes, and has gone out of her way to produce a programme for me. She is calm and friendly even when I am making mistakes and also maybe not making a lot of sense! I'd definitely recommend her to other Spanish students.

I've been taking Portuguese conversation classes with Alba for a few months, and it's always a pleasure. I don't have any option to practice Portuguese in my daily life, so our chats are a great addition to more traditional, grammar-focused classes I take. She is very open minded and asks interesting questions that push me to use the language in a natural way, without any pressure.
