I took an accent reduction session, and it was super helpful. As I’m not a native speaker, there has always been a gap between my speech and the right pronunciation and accent. He gave me great tips that I really needed. If you’re already fluent in English and want to elevate your level to something more sophisticated, I highly recommend it.

Mr.Mike is sooooo knowledgeable.He is the BEST teacher ive met!!!After knowing my situation,he patiently explained a lot about my choice and suggestion.He is a thoughtful and wise man.Btw he has standard Chinese pronunciation.He has ideas and patterns, which will enliven the classroom atmosphere. I admire it very much！If you want to improve your oral English listening and gain more knowledge, then book his course and you will not regret it☺️

我被这个老师骂了，你敢信吗？会被打码的那种。我花钱来上课但是被骂了。我说我找不到他说的数字1，他跟我说数字1就在有数字1的地方，6，后面用了可能你眼睛有问题，你该去看眼科医生而不是找英语老师。如果你想体验一下原汁原味的美国人是怎么用英语骂人的，阴阳怪气的，请试试吧。并且italki是不会退钱的，他们的处理方式只是“观察”这个账户。 Can you believe it? I actually got insulted by this teacher. I paid for a lesson and ended up getting yelled at. I said I couldn’t find the number “1” he was pointing out, and his response was, “The number 1 is where the number 1 is.” Brilliant, right? Then he went on to say maybe I have an eye problem and should see an ophthalmologist instead of an English teacher. He even threw in some profanity, though I’m not sure if this review will get published with those details — so feel free to imagine the rest. If you’d like to experience how an American really insults people in English, complete with sarcasm and condescension, give it a try. And just so you know, italki won’t give you a refund — their “solution” is simply to “monitor” the teacher’s account.
