Learn French from a polyglot (vocabulary, pronunciation, translation...) Hello there! My name is Romain, I'm 24. I come from Belgium and my native language is French. I also speak English, Dutch and Spanish. I've been passionate about languages since I was 14. I study English&Dutch literature and linguistics, as well as translation (master degree). Beside university, I also play the violin. I have many hobbies and a high interest for everything that surrounds me. Here are a couple of these hobbies: Language learning, Violin/Opera, Journaling, ASMR, gaming, walking, composing watching animes... I generally adapt well to different types of students. I'd love to help you find the tools and resources that suit you best. I enjoy giving small challenges to help you build up your confidence. [July's schedule will be reduced and modified from the usual. This is temporary. Schedule is displayed 2 weeks in advance to guarantee reliable time slots] My teaching experience: I have worked as a secundary school substitute teacher and have also given private classes in French, English and Dutch. I also often work at an emergency callcenter which requires speaking 3-4 languages. The course may be given in: French, English, Dutch or Spanish Here are the lessons I offer (check the course description for more details): - Conversation classes - Pronunciation classes (focus on pronunciation and exercises) - Translation classes (some knowledge of French is required beforehand)

He tenido dos clases con Romain y ¡es genial! Tiene muchísima paciencia (cosa que agradezco mucho) y tiene una forma muy clara y amigable de explicar las dudas. Además, es una persona cercana y profesional, lo que hace que el proceso de aprendizaje sea eficaz y agradable. Otra cosa que me gusta de él es que explica las diferencias del francés en Francia y Bélgica, así que para amantes de las lenguas es muy enriquecedor. Lo recomiendo al 100%

Every lesson with Romain is so enjoyable because he is so friendly and easy to talk to. It is also a wonderful experience to listen to his French (so melodic and clearly pronounced) and he also speaks English fluently and naturally. I am learning so much about translation from Romain and am also beginning to understand more of the subtleties of the French language, which he generously shares with me and patiently explains.
