Hi! I’m Mio from Japan. I'm a native Japanese speaker, with extensive experience teaching Japanese language to a wide range of different people - from primary school students to business people.
I have studied English for a long time, so I know how challenging (and rewarding) it can be to learn a new language and I love to help others achieve their language-learning goals!
2020年の秋からイギリスのロンドンに住んでいます。小学生から大人まで、幅広い年齢の方に日本語を教えた経験があります。休日にはバドミントンをしたり、ギターを弾いたり、旅行に行くことが好きです。

As a teacher, I always aim to give my students a practical and enjoyable learning experience, keeping them engaged throughout each lesson and trying to motivate them to develop a deeper understanding of the wonderful language that is Japanese.
・Native Japanese speaker, having grown up, studied and worked in Japan.
・Professionally qualified Japanese teacher (I passed the official Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test in October 2020)
・I also have been teaching Japanese almost 3 years at Language school in London.我的課程內容與教學風格
I have a patient and cheerful style, which I find best allows me to channel my passion for education and, particularly, for sharing my love of Japanese language and culture. I teach from total beginner to JLPT N3 level.
I can offer a wide range of different lesson formats tailored to my students' needs, for example:
・Structured lessons following the textbook (Minna no Nihongo shokyu1,2 and 日本語総まとめ N3)
・More fluid conversational lessons, picking up specialist points of grammar and vocabulary - this can sometimes suits intermediate to advanced learners who have graduated from textbook.
・Survival Japanese (learning very basic Japanese skills to equip a student to travel/live in Japan)我的教材
