Hello! I’m Michael, a native English speaker from the U.S. with an American accent. I’m TEFL-certified and have over 6 years of experience teaching English. I specialize in Business English, exam preparation, and everyday conversation, helping students improve their skills and feel confident using English in real-life situations. Having traveled extensively and currently living in South America, I am also fluent in Spanish, which allows me to understand learners’ perspectives and explain concepts clearly when needed.

I graduated with a degree in Supply Chain Management from Arizona State University in 2016, then worked in the corporate world in California. Later, I moved to South America, where I learned Spanish and discovered my passion for teaching languages. I went on to open my own English school and have been teaching ever since. I’m TEFL-certified and have extensive experience tutoring students of all ages and backgrounds, helping them improve their English for work, exams, and daily life. I’m TEFL-certified and specialize in Business English for professionals as well as exam preparation for TOEFL, IELTS, CAE, CPE, and GMAT.

If you’d like to communicate more clearly and effectively at work, I can help you develop essential communication skills, structure language for business scenarios (emails, calls, meetings, presentations, negotiations), and prepare important presentations, documents, or emails. Many students also come to me to improve their fluency and confidence in everyday English. After assessing each student’s needs, we build a personalized plan together. My classes are practical and effective—I don’t rely on grammar books or focus on rarely used rules. For children, I design age-appropriate lessons that are engaging, productive, and fun.
