I am from Frankfurt, Germany und ich spreche Deutsch und Englisch. I am certified to teach English, Biology and DAF (German as a foreign language). I love travelling and tutoring. I realized my passion for both quite early. So, I started to tutor when I was still in school myself, taught horse riding and Taekwondo. Further, I participated in a student exchange year (Granville, New York) and travelled through Australia for 6 months. Additionally, I worked at a “township school” in South Africa. I like to work with people and I really believe that languages are not only a tool to communication but also to understand different cultures better.

我的教學經歷

As your teacher, I always prepare for the lessons (and I hope you do so, too) and try to respond to the students wishes. I create a friendly and unprejudiced learning environment. Because I love to expand my (teaching) knowledge, I worked in different schools. - During my studies I did an internship (High School) for 6 months, and I also worked at a Primary School for 7 months. - Simultaneously, I achieved my teaching certification for DAF/DAZ (German as a foreign language). Deutsch ist meine Muttersprache, weswegen ich besonders gut Englisch an Deutsch sprechenden vermitteln kann. -Since that I have worked at a High School and a Vocational School and enjoyed every lesson.

Teaching As already mentioned in the video my main goals are: 1. Increase in student speaking time 2. Use of different media and skills activation 3. Correction and preparation However, my methodology highly depends on the students wants and needs. Together with my students I like to create the lesson that suits each individual the best. I think it's important to have a balance between fun and passing on knowledge in every lesson. I teach beginners A0 (Primary School, age around 5) to advanced C1 (High School A-levels, age independent). Additionally I teach scientific (Biology) English. I do not accept lesson requests within less than 48 h in advance. Feel free to ask for other time slots
