Hi! My name is Amaya. I'm from the United States. I graduated dean's list from a top US University with degrees in International Relations and Spanish. I have spent the last 7 years working in the news industry for major outlets, among them CNN and Fox News.
I'm passionate about traveling and have been to over 50 countries!

I am a flexible teacher that's able to adapt to whatever style you need! I am trained in the journalism world and have strong writing and presentation skills. I am also able to work with beginners and teach grammatical english or conversational english. I enjoy teaching all levels and watching my students improve!

Today was Charlie’s first online English class with Teacher Amaya, and it exceeded expectations. She skillfully used visual/graphic tools to make the new learning environment easy and fun, kept instructions warm and clear, and maintained his attention for the full 30 minutes without distraction. Even though he’s only three years old, she helped him adapt almost immediately. Charlie finished the class motivated and excited for the next one. Strongly recommend Teacher Amaya
