Ciao a tutti!
My name is Giovanni and I'm from the North Eastern part of Italy.
I've been teaching Italian for 4 years, and I can't wait to introduce you to the unique Italian culture and tradition!
I've been exploring the world for nearly a decade.
I lived in Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and India for 6 long years!
Travelling, learning, teaching languages, and helping people are my biggest passions!
I'm currently learning Hindi and Urdu.
On top of all that, I'd be more than happy to teach you everything I know and experienced in the traveling world, sustainability, and languages.我的教學經歷
To be great as a teacher, one must also be a constant learner in the subject. As much as I would be teaching you the Italian language, I would also be learning other languages!
I am positive, relaxed, focused, and motivating as a teacher. Feel free to talk about anything you like and to share what you expect from the lessons before and as we proceed, for the best learning experience.
I'll apply that knowledge to personalize lessons in order to make them perfect for you!

The lessons will be structured around informal conversations that we'll include important topics in and, if necessary, basic grammar tips.

I will share references to the language as an indispensable part of the lifestyle and the culture, according to what your interests are.
To fully understand the Italian culture, I will help you learn common expressions you won't find in books.
The setting of the classes will indeed be relaxed and informal, let's have tons of fun together!
I can help you out even if you're a total beginner.

I just had another lesson with Giovanni. While Italki has changed recently, I am happy to say that Giovanni has not! He is still the calm, helpful, intelligent person that he's always been. He still taking the time to help me learn Italian and he seems very interested in knowing things about me and the United States where I live. I have always recommended him, and nothing has changed with that either!
