My name is Manuel and I am from Barcelona Spain. More than 20 years ago I moved to London where I still live. Moved by my passion for languages, in 2017 I spent a few months in Shanghai to improve my Chinese.
I have been teaching all around the globe, from Ecuador to Panama, the United Kingdom, Spain, China... Nevertheless, since 2016 I have been more focused on teaching English and Spanish and working as a translator.
Apart from teaching I love music, dancing, and anything that has to do with the sea; from sailing to freediving.我的教學經歷
I am a very dynamic, flexible, and experienced teacher. Also, because I have learned to speak other languages like English or Chinese, I know exactly what you feel and what you need to reach your goals. Been there, done that! Please, let me help you improve your English or Spanish.
Even though my degree is in Computer Science I have been working as a teacher for more than 20 years. I have thought from languages to public speaking. I am a TEFL certified teacher. I also have attended tens of other teaching techniques seminars.我的課程內容與教學風格
I like to adapt my teaching to the need of the student, some may like to speak more clearly, some are looking to improve their grammar, others may be looking to get better listening. Each student may need a different approach, so I am open to helping my students. When teaching kids I usually use flashcards and when teaching adults I use PPT or picture slides with grammar points and exercises.

Manuel is a great teacher! He makes me laugh all the time and he is genuinely a really nice person! I enjoy his classes so much. Our sessions fly by and I can’t wait to take more. I am really grateful that he speaks English fluently and eloquently. It helps me understand things better when I get stuck!
