Hi! Salut! Hola! I’m Maggie, a native English speaker from the US with a passion for helping students speak English naturally and confidently. As a linguistics student and language learner (French & Spanish!), I know how nerve-wracking conversations can be—but I’m here to make it fun and stress-free!
Whether you want to chat about travel, food, or your favorite hobbies (I love practicing muay thai, painting, and reading!), our lessons will focus on your goals. Let’s turn mistakes into progress and build fluency for real life—one conversation at a time.

I love teaching English online though conversation! Before coming to italki I previously taught on Preply. I am passionate about connecting with my students from all over the world and creating lessons personalized to them. I am very diligent so I will correct you during the conversation so you can sound more natural faster!我的課程內容與教學風格
Using the language is the best way to learn it at the intermediate level. That is why our classes will be taught in English, but if you are having difficulty in any way I can help translate. Our classes will consist of conversation, watching short videos based on your interest and discussing them, reading articles, and doing whatever interests you that class period. This class time is for you, so let me know what you would like to focus on.
I can also optionally assign homework that we can review in the beginning of class, let me know if this is something that interests you in the trial lesson.
