I’ve been teaching English for about six years in Japan.
My English accent is a London accent.
Every year in spring and autumn, I teach academic English to undergraduate students in Japan. I teach speaking, listening, reading and writing courses. I also have experience teaching business English to the employees of a Japanese multinational company, one of the leading semiconductor companies in the world. I have also taught English to nurses in Japan.我的課程內容與教學風格
I have quite a relaxed style of teaching, and I aim to make each lesson student focused.
Our first lesson will be about getting to know one another, finding out what you need and in what context you’d like to learn. For example, work, study, or as a hobby.
Once I’ve got to know you, and we’ve found that common bond, I aim to offer guidance but not lecture. I’ll give you a few nudges and help you to progress naturally and comfortably.
I make notes on your speaking skills (pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary) using the skype message area or Google Docs. Using these notes, we can keep track of language that needs improvement, and the topics we have talked about from lesson to lesson.我的教材
