Hello! My name is Maria Camila and I am an English and Spanish teacher. I am originally from Colombia but I have lived abroad in different countries such as Spain and Germany, and travelled to many others. Currently I am studying medicine and doing a minor in German culture and neuroscience. My mother language is Spanish. I am very passionate about learning new languages and about teaching and helping people to achieve their goals.

I have 5 years of teaching experience and I am also TELF certified from the State University of Arizona. I can also provide didactic and multimedia material to make learning even more fun and easy. My teaching method varies depending on my students needs and what they want to achieve. But I always try to keep the classes dynamic and fun.
Tengo 5 años de experiencia en enseñanza, también cuento con un certificado TELF para enseñar ingles. Por otro lado, cuento con diferentes recursos didácticos y de multimedia para hacer el aprendizaje mas fácil y divertido. My teaching method varies depending on the goals and what the student wants to achieve.
In our classes, I can either prepare a lesson for you based on your level and interest or we can practice open conversation. Book a trial lesson with me so we can discuss your goals and how I can help you reach them!

I did my first hour lesson with Maria today! She came prepared with a PowerPoint and we started working on some gaps in my Spanish that we identified in our trial lesson. She was prepared with a PowerPoint, and the lesson was clear and concise with time for repetition and practice. She is able to answer all my questions quickly and makes it really easy to understand the material. Looking forward to continuing our lessons together and progressing my Spanish!

Maria is a pleasure to speak with. Very helpful that she speaks perfect English and can assist you when you're struggling with finding the right word/verb/tense in Spanish. Highly recommend.

Hugely disappointed with how my lesson planning was handled. This teacher cancels at the last minute and suggests rescheduling the lesson just to do the same thing again without even prior advise well before time. Have some respect for people's time.

I really enjoyed the lesson! Communication was easy, pleasant and interesting, as if I was talking to an old friend. If you want to improve your Italian, I recommend taking Maria's lessons. Why are you still reading this comment? Take the lesson already!
