Highly recommended, he's patient and structures the lesson according to your needs. It's easy to have a conversation with him and he understands what you are trying to say and helps you by structuring grammar lessons around your weaknesses. I would highly recommend giving him a try if you haven't already plus he does this on a full time basis so unlike other teachers that do this part time and disappear he will always be there to continue and make sure you improve. I've been taking lessons from him for easily over a year and he's consistent and his lessons are challenging for my level (Beginning B1).

I'm rather disappointed in Monsieur Paul. Because I'm not French, he cannot teach me Thai? I have degrees in Voice. I understand the phonetic alphabet, having sung in many languages. He said I wouldn't understand the French phonetics??? Easy, I'm learning new phonetics now, I have a high level of understanding of French, and I tutor it. I am looking for a long-term teacher. Not just to get me to Thailand for a vacation. I want someone who speaks French. Monsieur Paul's English is not that great, and I think he would be uncomfortable teaching me in English. I chose him because he was a French native. He is rejecting me because I am not French. He does not teach Thai to Americans. I spent a half hour speaking French. I was rather disturbed in speaking, as Monsieur Paul did not attempt to teach me any Thai. Only tried to prove that I wasn't capable of learning it.

Mister Paul is a great teacher! For me, he combines speaking practice with grammar and is very flexible with what I want to work on and how. He provides ample material to practice upon request and uses easy-to-follow guides for grammar rules. I will be continuing on with Mister Paul for a long time!
