I'd give Nayeli ten stars if I could! Our lessons feel more like chatting with a friend than sitting in class. She's outgoing, warm and so much fun to talk with, and she has a positive, easy-going way that makes it easy to relax and just try. Nayeli mixes conversation and instruction really well. I get plenty of real speaking practice and still learn a lot in every lesson. I appreciate that she doesn't stop me mid-sentence to correct me. She lets the conversation flow and brings up corrections when there's a natural pause, so I don’t lose my train of thought or my confidence. She also speaks clearly and is easy to understand, which helps a lot with learning. Nayeli is also super patient and creative. When something isn't clicking for me, she keeps trying different explanations and approaches until it makes sense. I never feel rushed or silly for asking again. Highly recommend!

My lessons with Nayeli always go by so fast, I never even think to check the time even though it's usually an hour. She works hard to find topics and supplemental materials (podcasts, videos) that are interesting and relevant, so that I want to talk about them. Best teacher I've had on iTalki!
