Lily Chen Adult/Kids

Lily is a great Chinese teacher and infinitely patient. I am a new Chinese student and she always seems to know when it is time to repeat questions in conversation, reference previous lessons, and when to try listening exercises and help with my speaking. It's rare to have a teacher that seems to know exactly where you need improvement and designs the lessons based on your own goals. I also appreciate the mix of formality when learning something new and being able to laugh and be informal during practice.

She really knows what she is doing. Perfect balance between listening and engaging the student with questions. Going to book more lessons!

Another great experience learning mandarin! Lily was a fun, engaging, and patient instructor. She personalized the lesson, covered a lot of material, quizzed me, played games, and reviewed the material multiple times to help it find a home in my brain. Thanks Lily!

I came into this lesson knowing I knew next to nothing about Chinese and frustrated with how hard of a time I’m having being able to speak the language. Lily was very patient with me as we went over the sounds. Even though I continued to blunder pronouncing, she never made me feel bad for it. I really appreciated her softness with her teaching and her willingness to help me continue to learn. I’m excited to schedule my next lesson with her soon.
